LifeBlood Council is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the causes of voluntary blood donation and the prevention, care and cure of Thalassemia. The Council aims to build a future where blood and its components will be always available to those in need of blood transfusions; to provide care and support for persons with Thalassemia Major; and, ultimately, to build a future where there are no births of children with Thalassemia Major. Towards this, the Council has been building a comprehensive ecosystem which includes Government authorities, NGOs, the medical fraternity and society at large and initiating best practices and programs to help the needy.

Donations
We request information from the visitor on our donation form. A visitor must provide contact information (such as name, e-mail and mailing address) and payment information (such as credit card number and expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and for sending receipt of the donation.

LifeBlood Council follows a reliable refund policy to let our donors feel privileged about their association with us. We take utmost care about processing donations as per the mandates signed by our donors in the donor forms, both offline and online. If the Donor wants to cancel the donation, do write to support@lifebloodcouncil.org asking for a refund within 30 days after donation giving details of the donor, the amount, the date and PAN number. LifeBlood Council will respond within 7 working days from the date of receiving the complaint from donor. The timely refund of the paid amount will depend on the type of card used during transaction. In all cases where the tax exemption certificate has already been issued, a refund will not be possible.
